As the FA Cup final wraps up, Manchester United clinch the championship and prepare to enter the Europa League; their focus has already shifted to the 2024/25 season.

Although the Red Devils' new season jerseys have not been officially released, it is anticipated that they will include three styles: home red, away blue, and white.

The Manchester United 24/25 home jersey, designed by Adidas, adopts the same template as the 2024 Germany Euro away jersey, blending two shades of red in a gradient design.

This isn't the first time Manchester United's home jersey has blended two shades of red; back in the 2016/17 season, a similar design was used when the team, under Mourinho's leadership, won the League Cup and Europa League.

Moreover, Manchester United has a history of jerseys with similar gradient treatments, such as the Scottish tartan design worn during Ferguson's last year, and the jerseys worn when Cantona retired and the Class of '92 emerged.

A significant change in the Manchester United 2024/25 season jersey is the inclusion of the new sponsor Qualcomm Snapdragon logo on the front, replacing "Teamviewer".

This is a lucrative contract worth up to £60 million per year, making it the largest jersey sponsorship contract in world football, spanning three years.

It is reported that Manchester United may officially announce the new home jersey in early July 2024, as the sponsorship contract with Qualcomm Snapdragon begins on July 1, 2024.

Manchester United's away jersey features navy blue as the main color, combined with light silver accents and dark blue trim on the sides.

The most prominent design feature is the collar, with a zigzag pattern made up of the initials "MU" on the front.

This retro design style evokes memories for veteran fans of Manchester United's jerseys during the Vodafone and AIG sponsorships in the early 21st century, recalling the Ferguson era.

It is reported that Manchester United's blue away kit will be available for sale in July or August 2024, slightly later than the release of the home red jersey.

Manchester United's third away kit for the 2024/25 season will feature a white base with red and black stripes, resembling Brazilian powerhouse São Paulo.

The jersey, predominantly gray-white, features a retro trefoil logo.

Unlike designs from other clubs, Manchester United's kit uses a round collar rather than the polo collar seen on other teams' jerseys.

The three-color stripes on the chest are red, off-white, and black; the back of the jersey features a tricolor flag with the Manchester United name in English.

This kit is believed to be inspired by São Paulo, known as the "Tricolor Legion".

Adidas previously sponsored São Paulo from 2018 to 2023, so it's entirely possible that this served as a design template.

It's worth noting that Manchester United has a classic red-white-black striped jersey in its history, such as one of the kits worn during the treble-winning season in 1999, when Giggs wore it in the FA Cup final extra time, a classic scene where he ran half the field to eliminate Arsenal with a score of 2-1.

Undoubtedly, regardless of external evaluations of the new jerseys, Manchester United's club hopes they become championship jerseys, forever remembered by fans.

According to the 10-year contract signed between Manchester United and Adidas last summer, their cooperation will extend until 2035, with a total value of £900 million, setting a record in Premier League history.

If Manchester United men's and women's teams win the Premier League, Women's Super League, FA Cup, or continental competition, they will receive a maximum bonus of £4.4 million per year.

However, if Manchester United fail to qualify for the Champions League in a single season, a punitive clause will be activated, resulting in a deduction of £10 million from the £90 million annual sponsorship fee.

Previously, the contract stipulated that they had to miss out on the Champions League for two consecutive seasons for a deduction to occur.
