On April 28, Musk arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport to kick off his fast trip in China.
The news that Tesla's autopilot system FSD may be close to getting approval for the Chinese market has attracted a lot of attention.
At present, China's autonomous driving field shows a diversified competitive landscape, which can be mainly divided into five camps, such as Huawei, traditional car companies, emerging car companies, intelligent driving solution providers and Tesla FSD.
Within these five camps, each company offers its own unique autonomous driving solutions, ranging from high-precision map-based systems to liDAR technology solutions to purely visual solutions.
The first is Huawei, whose smart selection model covers many brands such as Celes, Chery, BAIC and Jianghuai.
In addition, Huawei has also cooperated with some foreign brands such as Audi and Toyota to provide them with intelligent driving solutions.
Followed by the traditional car company camp, including BYD, Geely and the Great Wall. In this camp, the CEO of Great Wall even personally tested the company's self-driving technology to demonstrate its reliability.
The third camp is emerging car companies, such as Xiaopeng, Ideal, NiO, Zero Run and millet. They continue to launch nationwide urban autonomous driving services and actively explore new models of smart travel.
The intelligent driving solution provider camp includes Baidu, DJI, Horizon, momenta, Pony Zhixing, Wenyuan Zhixing and Qingzhou Zhihang.
Among them, Baidu's apollo system has landed in Jiyue Automobile, and announced that the next 150,000 models will be standard equipped with high-level intelligent driving system.
Finally, Tesla's FSD system is also getting a lot of attention. Compared to other solutions, Tesla adopts a purely visual solution that does not rely on liDAR or millimeter wave radar, but realizes the perception of the surrounding environment through the body camera.
Users can choose to pay a one-time fee of 64,000 yuan for FSD or pay a monthly subscription fee of $99.
This pricing strategy has attracted the attention of many users, and has also triggered thinking about the future development direction of autonomous driving technology.
Overall, China's autonomous driving market is highly competitive, and companies from all sides have launched innovative products and services, which have made positive contributions to the development of intelligent transportation, and also provided consumers with more choices and convenience.
